On 29 October 2026, Emmanuel Bonnet opened the inaugural plenary session of the international seminar “Road safety: interdisciplinary perspectives on risks, mobility and behaviour”, organised by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Laboratory of Economic Sciences and Public Policy at Ibn Tofaïl University, Kénitra. His talk was entitled “Assessing road risks and injuries where data are scarce: examples from research projects in West Africa” (given in French).
The Kénitra seminar was an opportunity to exchange with Moroccan psychology teams working in the field of road safety: the Higher School of Psychology in Casablanca, Hassan II University of Casablanca (FLSH Mohammedia), Ibn Tofaïl University in Kénitra and Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech. Their work covers risk perception, the neuropsychology of driving, how professional drivers explain crashes, and levers for behaviour change.
